Emerging from the bucolic flatlands of the Waveney Valley, bordering counties Norfolk & Suffolk is alternative folk singer-songwriter, Watkin A. Sharkey - accompanied by Chris Powell on harmonica. Influenced by songwriting giants such as Ralph McTell, John Martyn & Michael Chapman.
"There are a lot of words to describe Watkin A. Sharkey, but I think you can whittle it down to exceptionally talented, instrumentally interesting and incredibly apt songwriting."
- The Bedford, Balham
"Delicate guitar textures, gritty vocals, uniquely specific moments of child-like memories." - Jacob Braybrooke, Ely Radio
