20240906: Friday 6th September 2024: Open Stage with special guests All My Trials

All My Trials: Joe Hillman and Michael Matthews first met in 2010 and they have written songs and played together ever since. Based in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, they created ‘All My Trials’ in 2023 as a vehicle for their indie folk tunes. 
They share songwriting duties, creating silly songs, tall tales and bloody ballads about rivers and seas, horses and ghosts, smuggling and poorly-designed civil engineering projects… 
Lyrical inspiration comes from the folk ballad tradition with musical hints of the Decemberists, the Kinks, the Beatles and Fairport Convention.
They are a lively and interactive live duo: Joe’s punchy, dynamic vocals and guitar drive the songs while Mike’s melodic bass accentuates and enhances. They are often joined by multi-instrumentalist Troy Cook (drums & percussion).
They signed to Tonotopic Records in 2024 and with releases including ‘The Reckless Engineer’’ and ‘Spring’.

This will be the first Open Stage after the Open Stage 2024 album is released. All My Trails performance of 'Moonrakers', is included on the Open Stage 2024 album. All My Trails and other Open Stage 2024 performers will be at this Open Stage to promote the album.

Tom Conway, who was advertised as special guest for this Open Stage, is unable to appear.
