Formed in 1968 and still going strong, Hunter Muskett are Terry Hiscock (acoustic and electric guitars, slide guitar, piano, vocals); Doug Morter (acoustic and electric guitars, vocals); and Rog Trevitt (bass guitar, mandolin, vocals). Hunter Muskett is an acoustic/electric harmony band, playing distinctive original songs in a folky, sometimes bluesey, vein. In the early 1970s they played clubs, colleges and festivals at home and abroad and recorded two, now collectable, albums. Since reforming they have produced three CDs of original material, ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’ (2013), ‘Unafraid and Sober’ (2017), and ‘Roll On’ (2024).
They’ve just played at their friend Richard Digance’s birthday bash, and begin their Spring Tour with us at Cambridge Folk Club.
"One band that doesn't have to stand on past glories" - Record Collector Magazine.
