John and Pauline Pearce met in London in 1979 and have enjoyed writing and performing their songs ever since. They count Hank Williams, Joni Mitchell, Nic Jones and Martin Carthy amongst their early musical influences, Inspiration for their tunes often comes from British or American traditional music but can also be from jazz or music hall. They like to write about a range of subjects and steer away from love songs. Their CD, ‘Good Times’ is now available.
