Den Miller: Strong melodies, catchy sing-along choruses and intelligent lyrics are the trademark of songs composed and performed by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Den. He is an engaging and entertaining live performer, delivering his music and his message with clarity, energy and a good deal of humour.
His latest album, “Bless the Rains”, presents songs inspired by his time living in Kenya, including stereotypes, difficult decisions, corrupt leaders, gratitude for privilege, gratitude even for bad things, the power of hope and . . . tea. Den’s already known for an unusual viewpoint that entertains as well as being thought-provoking, and his new album widens that perspective further.

“Den can deliver a hefty punch with a killer turn of phrase” – FATEA Magazine

Romy Gensale: Romy’s musical and songwriting life started way back in the early 1980s in London, with her first band, an all-female five piece, Drunk on Cake. They played their own brand of original music at popular and independent venues such as Camden’s Powerhaus, Dingwalls, and Brixton’s Ace Club. Later Romy found herself in the 8-piece world music band Speaking in Tongues which graced the stages of the ICA and The Marquee, and filled out The Borderline as resident band. Her claim to fame was headlining an evening with support by an extremely talented Tori Amos, making her mark on the UK.
Romy later moved to Norfolk for a quieter lifestyle, and decided to go solo and begin recording her own music. She has since formed the rock fusion band ROME, taking her self-penned music to a new and exciting level, and making waves continuing to promote original music.
“I’ve always been a fan of song writers who can take a step back from life, really look at it in detail, make sense of it and then turn that perspective into something beautiful. A modern and feistily independent example of such is Romy Gensale” – Helen Robinson, Sounds Magazine.
