Rachel Hill is a full-time freelance artist, songwriter, and producer based in Cambridge. An acclaimed folk-inspired singer-songwriter, her effortless vocals have been described as ‘gorgeous, commanding and enchanting’ (Indie Top 39). Paired with her naturally authentic and vulnerable lyricism, Rachel’s songs come alive to create entrancing, immersive performances, especially when combined with her mastery of live vocal looping. Influenced by such artists as Paris Paloma and Lizzie McAlpine, Rachel's music resonates with listeners on a deep emotional level. The clarity of tone in Rachel’s higher register allows her melodies to dance around effortlessly in a way which has been repeatedly likened to birdsong – something Rachel is very enthusiastic about.
Last year alone, Rachel won the prestigious Purbeck Rising award at the Purbeck Valley Folk Festival, as well as receiving widespread acclaim from BBC Introducing. Last June she released her debut album ‘Words Left Unsaid’, which she toured across Germany for three weeks with the support of a grant from Help Musicians UK.
“Poetry put to music... Full of powerful vocals and delicate lyrics, it's beautiful” - Indie Top 39

Rob Clamp: Having supported the likes of Frank Turner, James Walsh (Starsailor) and The Bluetones, Rob Clamp is making a name for himself as a dynamic and captivating performer. Hailing from Southampton, Rob has been featured on BBC introducing, has won the highly regarded ‘Purbeck Rising 2022’, imprinting himself onto the UK folk scene, and won the ‘Sofia International Singer Songwriter Festival 2022’ in Bulgaria. Heavily influenced by the likes of Ben Howard, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Bruce Springsteen, Rob’s music is filled with real life experiences, performed in his own compelling storytelling style, with acoustic guitar accompanied by a variation of foot percussion.
Recent years have been eventful for Rob. He has sold out numerous shows across the South of England and mainland Europe. His debut album ‘Lost Soul’ was released in Spring 2024 featuring his longstanding supporting band, The Ashmen.

‘It’s not often you come across a voice with such controlled power; wherever his song writing leads him, his voice adapts to the genre, from pop through folk and roots.’

Robin Torbitt is an independent singer songwriter, composer and music producer based in Suffolk.
His diverse approach to music creation stems from an early exposure to a variety of music practices. Picking up the electric guitar was a springboard into an increasing interest in music technology and sound exploration. Since gaining a first-class degree in Music and Sound Recording at the University of York, Robin’s focus has been on writing new material and performing as widely as possible. He always returns to folk as a basis for his songs.
He has released two acoustic folk EPS and in September 2023, he released his debut album ‘Freedom Today’ on Bandcamp. This project was entirely self-written, recorded and produced as the final part of my Music and Sound Recording degree in York. The album melds a similar organic folk songwriting style with rock and ambient/electronic influences through creative sound design.
He is the winner of the 2024 Milkmaid Songwriting Competition.
