20191004: Friday 4th October: Gilmore and Roberts

Support: Bity Booker

Contemporary folk/acoustic duo Gilmore & Roberts combine award-winning songwriting with astounding musicianship and their trademark harmonies to create a powerful wall of sound. A Problem Of Our Kind (released October 2018) is their fifth studio album. Recorded by co-producer Ben Savage (The Willows and Hannah Sanders), the album has some of the most stripped-back arrangements of Gilmore & Roberts’ career so far.

“People and their stories have always been our primary source of inspiration for writing songs,” says Katriona.

‘Capable of making you dance, cry and think…a masterclass in songwriting and a lesson in how to present songs’ – Folk Radio UK.
