Soloman Smith: A Cambridgeshire singer/songwriter who writes folk songs of acute observation, accompanied on guitar and mandocello, Soloman’s memorable choruses will make you want to join in. Flavoured with soul, jazz, funk, country and more, his music is not easy to pin down. His CD 'Lasagne Moments' has been highly praised by RnR magazine as "wordy and thought provoking”, with “a wry intelligence at work." In a live gig review, 'Louderthanwar' set his name alongside J. J. Cale, and said that his songs "match the quality of Clive Gregson".
For this set, Soloman will be joined by Keith Hagger on bass and Jody Swanborough on drums.

"Soloman has a soulful voice and heart of conscience that are easy on the ear, his songs relate to the moment yet there is an essence of romance and a dunk of jazz,” Sue Marchant, BBC East Regional Radio.
