Brooks and Aaron Promo Video

Brooks Williams and Aaron Catlow

With more than 30 recordings and 30 years of touring, Williams is named one of WUMB-FM Boston's Top 100 All-Time Artists, nominated best male vocalist by Spiral Earth, and listed in the Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists. Brooks is known for his solo shows and his collaborations – with Boo Hewerdine, Rab Noakes and Sloan Wainwright, among others. This evening, Brooks will be collaborating with Aaron Catlow, master violinist and half of the duo Hawes and Catlow, with guitarist/singer Kit Hawes. His musical association with Aaron began when they met on tour in the Netherlands, and Aaron plays on Brooks’ 30th Anniversary album Work My Claim. Since then, Aaron has worked with Brooks on his latest venture, the album Ghost Owl, which came about when wildlife conservationist, and filmmaker/photographer, Simon Hurwitz, asked Brooks to record some music to accompany some of his short films.

Elsi

Having spent her early days immersed in the world of music and folk festivals, Elsi naturally became mad about music. Consequently, she has been playing guitar and singing for as long as she can remember. She had her first break in 2019, when she played on the main stage at Ely Folk Festival. Since then, she has been developing her own style and creating her own music to share with the live music community. Her song book currently reflects the musicians she finds most influential, including covers of songs by Kate Rusby.
