20181005: Friday 5th October: Open Stage with Soloman Smith

Soloman Smith: This Cambridgeshire singer/songwriter and seasoned performer writes and performs folk songs on guitar (and occasionally mandocello and banjo) flavoured with varying influences: soul, jazz, funk, country and more, so he's not that easy to pin down.  In reviewing his latest CD 'Lasagne Moments', RnR magazine said of him "wordy and thought provoking, there's a wry intelligence at work here," and in a live gig review 'Louderthanwar' dropped his name alongside JJ Cale and said that his songs "matched the quality of Clive Gregson". His CD 'Lasagne Moments' is available on all major platforms.

Tonight Soloman will be joined by Claudia Mackenzie on bass and Jody Swanborough on drums.

Songs that are acutely observed with memorable choruses great for joining in.

8pm (Doors open 7:30pm)

Entry: £4(door), £3(advance), £2(members), £1(performers).
