20180504: Friday 4th May: Clive Gregson and Liz Simcock

Support: Kev Walford and Kelly Pritchard

In 2017 Clive Gregson and Liz Simcock released Underwater Dancing, an album of brand new songs from the Gregson pen and hit the road for a UK tour.

Clive Gregson probably needs no introduction: he has toured and recorded with Christine Collister, Richard Thompson, Nanci Griffith, Eddi Reader and Boo Hewerdine, Plainsong and Any Trouble, not to mention releasing 13 solo albums. Liz Simcock is a singer-songwriter based in the Southeast, delighted to be asked to collaborate with Clive firstly for a series of concerts revisiting the Gregson & Collister catalogue, and then on this new project.

"This is brilliant stuff." Living Tradition Magazine

Kev Walford-Singer/songwriter originally from Liverpool, and now relocated to Suffolk has had major recording and publishing deals in the past and is now recording and collaborating with local musician- Kelly Pritchard.
Their music is a blend of Americana/Country and folk, and it’s obvious that they enjoy working together, as this enthusiasm and humour on stage has a way of engaging their audiences too- and that’s always the priority with their live shows- that everyone has fun!!! They have just finished recording their first album and it will be released soon!
